**Position Summary**
As a Senior Care Technician, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day wellbeing of elderly residents or clients. This position involves personal care assistance, monitoring health conditions, offering emotional support, and helping seniors maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignified lifestyle.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
– Monitor and document vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff or supervisors
– Provide mobility support, including transfers and use of assistive devices
– Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
– Assist with medication reminders or administration, as allowed by certification
– Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
– Follow care plans and adhere to facility or in-home care protocols
– Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare team
**Qualifications**
– High School diploma or equivalent required
– CNA, PSS, CRMA, or other relevant certification preferred (training opportunities may be available)
– Previous experience in senior care or a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
– Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
– Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and mobility assistance
– Excellent communication and time management skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus
– Must pass background checks and health screenings as require
**Work Schedule**
– Flexible shifts: Days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
